My aim is to create an expressive response to the environment and to provide an atmospheric and emotional sense of place – employing the
ever-changing effects of the elements on the sea, estuaries, skies and wide open spaces.

As the image “emerges” a feeling of “rightness” prevails – only then can one inhabit that space.
