Kevin likes to paint and sketch outdoors. Such works often
become references for much larger paintings, which are completed
in the studio. Kevin works in oil, watercolour or acrylic
mediums.
He has
exhibited on several occasions with both the Royal Society of
Oil Painters (ROI) and the Royal Society of Marine Artists
(RSMA) at the (Mall Galleries, London). His details can be
found in the national publication, Who’s Who in Art.
Living in Oulton Broad,
Kevin is surrounded by marine subjects. He is not only close to
the Norfolk Broads’, but also to the painterly fishing villages
and beaches along the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline.
Interestingly it was
whilst he was working on Lowestoft fish market during the late
seventies, when the docks were crammed with deep sea fishing
vessels, that he first took painting seriously. He has
consistently maintained his interest in marine painting and is
today an active member of the East Anglian Group of Marine
Artists (EAGMA) |
