Adrian Taunton comes for a distinguished family
of painters stretching back to William Taunton (1809-1898).
Born in 1939 he was educated at Norwich School and Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge and then pursued a career in industry before becoming a full time artist in the early 1980s. He now exhibits widely and his subjects include scenes from Venice, France and other parts of Europe, painted in various media. |

He is best known, however, for his watercolours, capturing the essence of the East Anglian scene in evocative landscapes and seascapes under a big sky. Prices range from £260 to £1800.
