He is a self taught artist, educated at Mercers’ School and Oxford University. National Service in the Royal Navy and long service as Russian interpreter in Royal Naval Reserve. He taught French and Russian at Gresham’s School and Rugby School.

He now lives in Norwich and paints in East Anglia and abroad. He paints in watercolour, mostly landscape and marine subjects.

He has exhibited regularly in Galerie Lespinasse, Rouen and has work permanently in the Crome Gallery, Elm Hill, Norwich.

He is President of Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle.

His works range in price from £200-£500. Commissions undertaken.
