Anthony Osler was born in Ipswich in 1938 and has taken a passionate
interest in all things maritime for most of his life. He started
watercolour painting in his late twenties after having some pen and
ink work accepted for publication in a yachting magazine, and
quickly achieved success with a very distinctive style and a
compulsion to improve.
He has had one-man shows in
Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Maldon, and Paris but nowadays tends to
concentrate on mixed exhibitions and maintaining stock at several
galleries including
Sea Pictures Gallery, Clare, Suffolk
The Peter Hedley Gallery, Wareham, Dorset;
Francis Iles, Rochester, Kent;
